Is There No Way To Lid The Boiling Pot of Modern Life?
It is a story that is becoming boring to read. Man struggles with technology. He cannot get a lid on the boiling pot of emails, texts, slacks, meetings. Each individual drop of hot water is fine—but a thousand drops?
He looks mostly in vain for solutions. Flip phones, smart watches, deleting apps, site-blocking, so on.
But he can only hold down the lid for so long. Eventually the lactic acid builds up, his muscles fail, his arms shake, and then all at once the lid explodes off and he is sitting drenched on the kitchen floor, burning once more.
